Kingston SEND Parent Carer Forum (PCF) is a group of volunteer parent carers who work to ensure that our voices are heard. Our aim is to be involved in the design, delivery and review of services for children and young people with special needs and disabilities in the local area  

The Kingston PCF was formed in 2019 and has developed our role and remit in the local area in very difficult circumstances. As we have grown, we have become a constituted group of volunteers who wish to have a wider impact.

Job Opportunity: Administrator/ Virtual Assistant

We are looking for an administrator/virtual assistant who is highly organised and can support our work to advance the rights our SEND children in the local area.

The role 

The Kingston PCF is looking for a part-time administrator/virtual assistant to help with the running of our small, volunteer-led organisation.

The position is for 10 hours per week and does involve one evening monthly meeting. The working hours will need to be spread across a number of days in order to meet deadlines and make timely response to enquiries.

The postholder will be working remotely so we are looking for a capable and tech-savvy administrator, who can be flexible to meet the needs of the role and has a can-do attitude.

The ideal postholder will have:

– Excellent communication skills, highly competent administrator

– Experience of creating and maintaining systems to support an organisation

– Confidence using a range of office management software and online services, for example running surveys and setting up events
